Getting Started with Activism
There are two methods of climate-change activism, which can be classified as long-term and short-term. Short-term climate activism focuses on your local community and making it a more eco-friendly place to live, which involves doing things like cleaning the creek or planting a garden. Long-term activism, however, involves doing a bit of complaining to the people in charge when they aren't doing enough. For instance, if a company is selling things wrapped in single-use plastic or your transit system is so unreliable that it isn't an option for those trying to cut back on car usage, then you should complain about it and maybe, maybe, you'll get listened to. Greenguide has articles for starting both short-and long-term activism.
