No-Plastic Granola Bars

1/2 cup sunflower seed butter or peanut butter

1/2 cup pitted dates (around 15)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 pinch salt

2 tablespoons (or more) chocolate chips

1/4 cup nuts (optional)

Step 1: Put the dates, honey, seed butter, and salt into a food processor. (1)
Step 2: When they resemble a lumpy paste (2), stop blending them.
Step 3: Add the oats, cranberries, nuts (if using), and chocolate chips to the paste. (3)

Step 4: Blend just a bit more. (4)
Step 5: Take the paste out of the blender and spread it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (5)
Step 6: Put the baking sheet in the freezer and leave it for 30 minutes. (6)
Step 7: Remove the baking sheet from the freezer and use a knife to slice into bars, then enjoy. (7) If you need to take the granola bars somewhere, keep them in a plastic container or wrap them in beeswax cloth or aluminum foil, NOT PLASTIC.
